It was an exciting moment this year as Ferab Hilltop partnered with IBI Foundation to celebrate the “Girls in ICT day 2021”, which took place on the 20th May 2021 in Abuja.
The programme featured various presentations from women in the ICT Industry. Discussions ranged from AI to Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Film making, Blog writing, Renewable energy, and Coding.
The programme in itself was exciting as the girls got to see the workings of a drone and also interact with virtual reality tools.
In attendance was Mr Femi Adejumo, MD of Ferab Hilltop Nigeria Limited, who encouraged the girls not to be deterred by society stereotype. He also encouraged the girls to never give up seeking knowledge as knowledge itself is power. Ferab Hilltop later presented gifts to some outstanding girls during the celebration.
