IDEAS-TVET COHORT 2 TRAINEES AND FACILITATORS AT FERAB HILLTOP
For many young Nigerians, the journey from education to employment is met with a difficult reality: having a certificate does not always translate into having the practical skills needed to thrive in today’s economy. As technology continues to reshape the workplace, the demand for relevant, market-ready skills has never been greater.
Closing the Skills Gap
This is the gap that the Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS) Project seeks to address. Supported by the World Bank and implemented by the Federal Government of Nigeria, the programme is designed to strengthen technical and vocational education while equipping young people with practical skills that lead to employment, entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods.
Ferab Hilltop was proud to contribute to this vision as a Training Service Provider under IDEAS-TVET Cohort 2, equipping young Nigerians with industry-ready skills for the digital economy.
Beyond the Theory
Our training went beyond the classroom, introducing participants to the world of content creation, film production and digital media, while helping them understand how creative ideas can be transformed into meaningful content. Trainees also learned how to use digital platforms strategically to promote brands and businesses, connect with audiences and build online visibility.

TRAINEES IN A PRACTICAL SESSION
Why These Skills Matter
The relevance of these skills cannot be overstated. Today, businesses need compelling content to tell their stories. Entrepreneurs need digital platforms to reach customers. Organisations need effective online communication, and the growing creator economy continues to open new career paths for young people.
By equipping participants with practical knowledge in these areas, IDEAS-TVET is helping young Nigerians move from simply consuming digital content to creating, communicating and building opportunities through it.

FACILITATORS AND PARTICIPANTS AT THE TRAINING
Results That Speak for Themselves
The impact of the training is evident in our participants’ progress. More than half of the trainees are now actively applying the skills they acquired to earn income, whether through content creation, social media management, digital marketing, or other creative opportunities, a strong indication that the purpose of the IDEAS-TVET training has been achieved.

Our Commitment
At Ferab Hilltop, we believe that meaningful training should do more than impart knowledge; it should prepare people for real opportunities. Our participation in IDEAS-TVET Cohort 2 reflects our commitment to delivering world-class, industry-relevant training that empowers individuals with skills they can apply beyond the classroom.
Because when young Nigerians have the right skills, they do not just find opportunities; they create them.
